Is he? I really think he is. With the recent turmoil currently in our family. You start to question that. My brother-in-law sufferered a ruptured aneursym last Thursday. After 7 days of bad news, loss of hope, we continued to pray.

Is he listening? Is he? We continued to pray. The last 2 days , good news.

I know it is so hard to believe when everything seems to continue to go downward and when a person who has been such a wonderful person, great father, great husband brother son and friend is suffering. Someone who is fighting for his life. It just seems so unfair.

You keep believeing...... You keep hoping........ You keep praying....

Because you have to.

God Bless all of you. Remember live like there is no tomorrow. Tell people that you love them, every chance you get.

Bob Barker comes to mind right now as I am writing yet another check for the freakn dogs that have multiplied and I think they are so stinkin cute ........ you want to charge me and arm and a leg that alright cause apparently I am the DONALD! I know I deserve it....

YEP, my dog had puppies....... 4 of them..... one girl 3 boys... stinkin cute.....

Well guess what folks... listen to Bob Barker...alright... he knows what he is talking about.. cuz it will save you a whole lot of headaches in the long run and of course the cashola! $$$$$

One of the pups... I noticed had an ambilical hernia, then developed a nose bleed..... made an appointment for all the pups.... cha chang 45 minutes later.... $130.00

The one pup with hernia... may have something else more serious.....they want to run labwork and other tests.. but in the meantime antibiotics for this little guy... OH ya he has a heart murmur... oh LORD.... his little eyes looking at me, how could I not say sure you know......

LUCKILY the vet let's wait a week and follow up with the 2 of the pups because they might have some medical issues.......

I say to the vet do you think we could stretch out 2 weeks which is payday... ugh... Certainly she says........... :) Whew.... now working some overtime.... for these stinkin cute pups..... I need to do what I need to do.........

I left feeling like crap and so sad for these pups..... and all I could think about was... BOB BARKER.... spay and neuter your pets..

DARN BOB BARKER if you were still on TV maybe just maybe I would have remembered..... :(

Ok ok I will say it IS MY FAULT..,.I am only going to say this once... ok :)

My Lil'Peanut turns 3 next month and I am on a quest to plan the perfect birthday party. I was thinking about doing a vintage circus theme. Colors: pink, yellow, blue, and white.

I usually default to store bought cake , etc..... but this year I am soooo determined to get my Martha Stewart badge if it kills me.

Wish me luck! I am sure going to need it.....:)

I am game to try new things. I am game to try healthy things. I am game to try and work out. Ok I totally lied about that last one :). But oh heck no when I spend $5 bucks on a freakn Skinny carmel macchiato and the chic at the counter says "oh no it's tastes just the same." RUN for hills people... RUN

That 5 bucks was from my change fund. No change, no coffee...... I was going to get my 5 bucks worth even if it killed me.

Oh man it was bitter and it had an after taste that lingered on my tongue for hours. I keep thinking it would grow on me and I kept thinking to myself it has less calories, less sugar, GROSS.

Takin a break, writer's block, my beautiful aunt passing a week ago.... 2011 has been a hard year. :(

Time flies by everyone says... and what does that mean? It means you really need to stop putting off those things you think you can do later.

The Thursday before Memorial weekend my titi died unexpectedly. It was very hard. Devastating. This year my uncle Tony died in January, my uncle Hector died in February, and now my aunt Maria "titi" left to be with her brothers in May. Please pray for her sons, my mother, and her 2 sisters that are left through this horrible time.

Monday was her birthday :( This has definitely changed things...... It just sucks!

I am going to take a break for a bit but I will be checking on your blog posts and I will be back. Can't be funny when I feel like something is choking my heart.

Where there is poop, I will find it! Maybe I missed my calling somewhere. My dad swears up and down that is you step in a pile of crap you have good luck. So go play the lotto. REALLY? Stepping in it is good luck. Hmmmmmm interesting. Kind of like smashing your finger in the door, it could mean that those hands of yours are special and one day just one day your dreams will come true after the pain subsides and you stop crying and wondering why are you are such a ding dong for that in the first place. WOW I am still waiting for the big jackpot to come my way. God only knows I have paid my dues with just stepping in it alone.{:

Well my car always gets hit with bird poop. I can park away from trees or overhangs and it doesn't matter. THEY will find me. I was driving home and I was so happy my car was clean and shining, then it happened OUT OF nowhere... BIRD torpedo!!! It hit my windshield. It sounds like bullets... It was NOT just one spot... it had multiple spots like gun shots........and I thought I heard cackling.... cuz you know tthose darn birds are HIGH fiving themselves..... #$%&*

What am I the bird WHISPERER..... my goodness!!!!!!

So sweet to wake up to laughing kids and knowing today is Sunday.

Heading out on the town. As you all can relate... I will be going somewhere where everyone agrees will be the right place. Cause that is what us mom's do...... compromise, sacrifice, and plainly stated we always worry about everyone else.

Which doesn't matter because I will be will family and that is all that counts....... Maybe a baseball game later. Haven't decided because this ol' body of mine might get injured and I am a working woman! :)s

Character: cheerful, kind This sweet little girl is almost 3 years old. She was born to a very young, single mom at 34 weeks gestation. She had some minor pulmonary issues in her first days of life as a result of her preemie birth, but she is very healthy now! She was born with an open oval window which may have closed on it's own.

Chelsea is affectionate, friendly, inquisitive child. She loves to hug and kiss. She smiles and laughs a lot. She is a pet in the group. She loves to play with dolls, puzzles. She is petite and gracious. She is active for a child with Down syndrome and can be strong-willed, get angry and weep if anything is not her way. But she can be easily distracted from a disappointing her thing. She cannot dress by herself and does not want to eat by herself. Her appetite is not very good. She is rather selective and does not like sweets. She is used to a potty, but cannot ask about it.

She started to sit up at 1.5 years of age, then started to crawl. She started to walk at 2 years of age. Now she runs fast, walks up and down the stairs, slides. She exhibits some muscle hypotony. She is delayed in her speech development. She speaks with syllables, but understands what is said to her and is obedient. To the question “where?’ she shows correctly her eyes, ears, arms.

Chelsea will be transferred in the coming year to a very remote part of the country, and will be *out of reach* for adoption. Hope someone will consider this beautiful child and give her hope for a future!

So I skipped the co-pay and diagnosed myself. YEP, yet again. I knew I should have been a doctor..... darn it!........... I have had this pain in my right hand from the tip of my pink to my wrist. The outer part only. Don't know why. It doesn't seem like it is carpal tunnel. The pain is annoying! It lasted all week. Today it is better.... My concern is it happened last month too.

This getting old thing.... not my cup of tea!

This has been a marathon. A marathon of easter egg hunts. Chocolate galore! Bouncing children! So cute in the beginning and then it turns into OH my goodness, what did we get ourselves into.

Easter Egg Hunt the weekend before. Egg hunt on Saturday at my husband's family house. Then on Sunday with my side of the family.

I think I have some sort of evil spell that has been placed upon me. BY someone... I feel it.......their jealous...... they are jealous .... about... my nylons.... YEP I know hard to believe but it's true.

WHO wears nylons anymore anyway right! I DO!....... Not the fancy tights that are so in fashion.... the suntan.. ones..... the OL' fashioned ones.... The ones you find in the safeway aisle for 2 bucks.

I wear them alright! I think I look mighty fine in them if I must say so myself!........

My legs are so bright.. you would even need to wear SUNGLASSES at night if you looked at them. So there is no way I am wearing a skirt or some cute flats with slacks without them. I feel NAKED without them.

SO anyway let's get back to the HEX ....... All week I have worn nylons, people admire and stare. I would stare too if they weren't my awesome legs. .... THEY have envy in their eyes. I feel it....

EVERYDAY...... I get a run in them........ BIG huge ones...... the ones that make them look like fishnet stockings........ EVERYDAY I put on a new pair and there comes the run.........

I know what they are trying to do ... they want me to take them off.. but it ain't going to happen.... it isn'T! THEY just can't stand that I am the COOLEST one there ... :)

EVERYDAY I walk around with those runs.... with my head held high......... knowing that they all wish they could be me........

As I closely reexamined the reflection of BOZO, I looked and saw my lipstick bleeding out and of COURSE those lovely creases that form now cuz I am a youngen. I was horrified. I seriously looked like Bozo.... I am not exaggerating, ok maybe alittle bit but you know what I mean.

HOW long had I been walking around like this........ Growing old sometimes stinks!..

So I need to find something to fill in those creases.

I fixed it my face again, ahhhh I was presentable to all who were around me.

Thank goodness right.

So the day ended great! I was happy.

This morning I made sure to use the ENTIRE skin care regimen... because DARN it! I am not going to age gracefully..... OK I said it! I am VAIN....... just like the song Carlie Simon sang years old.

I do I admit it! Never use to be... but when I hit my late thirties it hit me! OH MAN@#$% I don't want to look my age. I want to look good for as long as I can.

SO I put on my long black boots, long black skirt, Niece blouse with a belt( you know the must have this season) LOL, and a nice sweater.

SOOOOO I walk into Starbucks. There is a bunch of people in there. EVERYONE is staring at me.

I am like WOW, I feel GOOD, I look GOOD.

Ordered my coffee, paid for it , picked it up.

THIS woman taps me on the shoulder, I AM THINKING... I know you want to KNOW my age right cuz I am lookin good.

I turn and look sure enough! IT was a freakn NAPKIN people. A NAPKIN....

Raccoons they sure had us all fooled when we were watching Snow White as kids and those darn things looked so cute, soft and huggable. THOSE THINGS ARE MEAN and they SCARY! I got your number baby! This kind of reminds me of Caddyshack when that darn squirrel is just laughing in their faces.

HE CERTAINLY is laughing in my face and I don't like it!

This raccoon has been hanging around for awhile now. I thought he had finally decided to move on because there really isn't much excitement in this place SOOOOO get to steppin! I live in tract development where you see Raccoons here and there once in awhile. They pop out of the sewers and run the streets like a gang.

I DON'T like them! THEY scare me. I know I said already but I want to make that very clear. THIS freakn raccoon on windy, rainy nights likes to run back and forth on the roof. It sounds like a horse is galloping across. IT IS kind of spooky hearing that in the middle of night.

Well that son of a gun was at it again last night! The sucker is driving me insane.

I jumped out of bed, ran to the window, there was that huge sucker.

THIS DUDE is huge and round and scary. HIS EYES glow in the dark as they look towards you.

CREEPS me out!

He sees me and takes off.

I wake up my husband and run into the girls room across the hall.

I run and look at the window. I scream! Right as I looked out the window that darn thing was looking straight at me pressed against the glass. Ewww right! I screamed again. I felt chills. UGH I am sure I hate that thing. If only......

I have heard so many stories about raccoons attacking pitbulls with those long sharp nails and beating the crap out of them. Pitbulls PEOPLE pitbulls!!!! THEY ARE MEAN.......

THEY are like ninjas they will slice you , dice you , and eat you up for dinner!

HEY you RACCOON! There is no vacancy here! GET to steppin soon or else! This will certainly NOT be a repeat of caddyshack, I WILL GET YOU!

Yep I was a cheerleader in junior high, high school, have coached for years. BUT...... my body isn't like it use to be. I keep reminding myself after every stupid injury that proceeds my lack of judgement.

Trying to display a toe touch to a 5 year old isn't such a good idea. One since I haven't stretched. Two my back is killing me. Three my abdominal muscles are like they use to be. Four YOU ARE OLD WOMAN! What were you thinking!

I pulled something in my leg. Or maybe ripped it to pieces. Who knows but it hurts badly. My back hurts worse and yet again I am totally cursing myself for my continued stupidity.

In my head I feel like I am 25, but my body seems to differ.

Moral of the story......... HIRE a stunt double next time.

Ok is it just me or does MEATLOAF have alittle problem with anger... just wondering if it was just me

Quick someone give Meatloaf a refund for his anger management class because certainly he didn't learn a darn thing or maybe he was napping or something. I caught up on my Celebrity Apprentice and boy was this week's episode a tad bit crazy. That meatloaf OH MY GOODNESS! What is his problem? Seriously. After this episode I am totally not liking him one bit!

His screaming epidsode at Busey was uncalled for. SAVE the theatrics for next show, will ya! I felt so bad for Gary. Who as you know lives in his own world due to his head trama he suffered years ago. I sincerely was feeling so bad for the dude.

All because of some paints that Meatloaf thought Gary took. After the threats, the name calling, and screaming. COME TO FIND OUT! His freakn bag was under a table somewhere.... UM ya you jerk! How do you feel now. LIKE a bully, LIKE an A#$, LIKE a total douchebag....

Oh man that whole episode ticked me off. Later he did apologize for his actions but really did it need to go that far. I FELT LIKE I WAS WATCHING and episode of the SOPRANOS or something.

Someone else that ticked me off was Richard Hatch after the departure of Jose Canseco because his father was gravely ill. RICHARD's comment of maybe he made the whole thing up so he didn't have to raise any money.

WELL Richard guess what. HIS father died! How about that for an excuse. You get the second award for being a total jerk!

Now to the part that made me cry. When Latoya donated a shirt in memory of her brother. Say what you will regarding the disfunction of the Jackson Family, but I felt it was so sincere and very sweet. It was still her brother and it would hurt so much if I lost a sibling. I just don't want to think about it!

Another part that made me cry was when a little boy that is a patient at St. Jude fighting cancer. So sweet. Those cheeks were just precious. I just balled thinking about his struggles. Poor baby and those other children who are suffering from cancer.

Whew this is probably the longest post ever! Ok... it feels good to vent...... yeah baby!

Omega 3's, Dr. OZ, staying home thinking shoot is there an exit route somewhere cuz I could sure use a latte

Loads of fun with vomit up to my knees, fatigue, a husband who is sick and every chance he gets wants to make sure I understand how sick he is. OK I get it. The Lil'princess was sicker than a dog. It was like the sequel of Linda Blair in the exorcist. Projectile vomit everywhere. Crying. Poor thing....

I slept on the floor next to her bed and this ol' body of mine was cursing me out by the time it was morning. Exhausted but as you moms know , life must go on. Chores to be done. Food preparation. Chores and more Chores. HEY what happened to my MAID! I was certain that by this time in my life I would definitely have a MAID in place because HELLO in my other life I was certainly rich and this chores thing is like ..um getting on my nerves.

WELL.. I guess in the meantime I am going to have to suck it up and get to it! Pronto~!

I just wanted to make it very clear that I AM NOT ENJOYING it one bit!~ :{

Anyway, since I stayed home I was able to watch Dr. OZ and again he let me know ALL the things I am doing to ruin my health YET AGAIN! Thank you very much Dr!.......

The interesting thing discussed today was OMEGA 3's and OMEGA 6's. TOTALLY didn't know the difference between the two. I just figured they were all good. NOPE.. OMEGA 6's are usually obtained in excess and OMEGA 3's are definitely deficient in most people. WHAT is the big deal? right! Well come to find out that if there is not a good balance of the two it may cause an onset of certain diseases or symptoms.

Though the body needs omega 3 fatty acids, it doesn't make them. So you must get them from foods including fish, some plants or nut oils, the University of Maryland Medical Center says.

After a glass and half of water the OMEGA 3's were in my system ready to fight.

Oh no you didn't!! Who took my cool ranch

Oh yes they did! Some sneaky cool ranch fiend STOLE my bag of chips. I woke up that morning for some reason thinking about lunch. I think I will have a sandwich with some chips. I am sooo tired of eating healthy this week soooo I give myself a pass. I remembered I had a huge bag of chips in my drawer that I had not touched for a whole week. I was so darn proud of myself!!!

Come in to work and open my drawer gone!... GONE GONE GONE!!..... ok so a few bad words came out of my mouth... well ok I will be honest a WHOLE lot of bad words came out.

YOU CAN take my highlighters from desk for not asking. I will let it slide.
YOU CAN take my pens I will let it slide

YOU CAN take my sticky pads.... I DID LET IT slide but I wasn't happy!

BUT HOLD ON WAIT A MINUTE....

You take my chips!... OH heck no! ......

WELL you all know my lil'peanut had been sick for two days. I missed work without pay to take of my little princess. All I ask for..... is some freakn COOL RANCH man! Come on PEOPLE!

DON'T mess with a stressed out, exhausted, HUNGRY, mom of 4 (two who have been sick), 2nd time around college student, full time worker...! JUST DON'T do it! Don't!

Guess what they did!

SOOOO I bought a bag of regular chips and placed them in the drawer with sticky notes that said:

I WOULDN'T do it if I were you. Seriously I wouldn't!!!!!

TOUCH and die a thousand deaths!

JUST try me!

You think that was alittle harsh??

THEY were so lucky it didn't happen when I was there. I would have lined them all up to smell their stinkin breath!

SO DISRESPECTFUL! They always take stuff from my desk. STUFF I buy with my own money. THE NERVE!!!!

The Davis family (Greg and Tesney and their oldest son) love Kirill VERY, VERY MUCH. They are adopting him from an Eastern European country and are in the fight for his life right now. The judge in his region of his country denied them their adoption plea. They are appealing the decision.

The reason?

"socially unadaptable" with reasoning that an institution (just like where Alexander is now) made him unworthy of a family. The judge did not have the wherewithal to stand up for Kirill against the prosecutor in the court that day, March 17th. They left him, heartbroken but steadfast in their faith in God and with love in their hearts for the woman that denied their baby a home.

They have asked for prayers for the judge, who has said she will not fight an appeal, and prayers for all involved in court during the appeal. They want to bring Kirill home, they love him. THEY LOVE HIM DEARLY.

Please. I beg you. PRAY. PRAY. PRAY. His life depends on it, he is WORTHY. All of the children we are fighting for ARE WORTHY.

Please re-post this, share this. Please do not slander the judge or this situation. Is it horrible? Yes, in my opinion it is. Is it wrong? In my opinion, yes it is. But slandering her or this situation will not help Kirill. PRAYERS will. COMPASSION will.

My poor little Peanut has been sick..... after a trip to urgent care on Friday, the ER on Sunday, we are headed back to the doctor today :(

Exhausted. Both girls have ear infections but the Lil'Princess is dealing with it well. The Lil'Peanut so sad :( She is miserable.

They are both on antibiotics for the ear infections.
But they both still have fevers after 4 days on antibiotics.

Puzzling

A trip with the Peanut to the ER on Sunday night didn't help us at all. They couldn't explain the fever and the abdominal pain.

The poor baby had to have a catheter for a urine specimen. IT WAS THE MOST HORRIFIC experience for me. I CRIED!.......She cried..... Specimen came out clear. They monitored her and sent her home.

Last night still a fever and misery.

Headed to the doctor again.

OFF work for 2 days without pay... since I don't get sick leave... which totally sucks! UGH... but I can't find myself not being here with her until I know she is going to be ok.

My daughter is obssessed with Chucky Cheese..... yep she says he is her best friend..... until she met him.....

LMAO, it has been a couple of weeks since my 2 year old was completely tramatized at the meer glance of Chucky Cheese. SHE totally freaked out!

My 5 year old was saying.... right before we went in... I am NOT going to hug him or touch him. I do not like him ok mommy. Ok , I said you don't have to.

My 2 year old was saying... Huckie he my best friend. Smiling and laughing exciting....

We played, we ate, we played again.......

Then it happened!

This is not my pic... what happened next didn't allow me to take a pic. I found this on google.

CHUCKY came out...... you would have thought it was that Chucky doll from those movies. Lil' peanut ran too me , yelling pick me up , pick me up!!! Ok....

Hey mommas! There is your best friend!

SHE yelled No, he not! He not my best friend anymore! I want to go home. Well in the meantime lil'princess decided that after 5 years she would FINALLY make piece with the RAT and wanted to participate in the activity.

Lil'PEANUT not soooooo happy.... OF course all of this happening when my husband Jeff conviently in the bathroom.. SHE started to scream.. I want to go home! I don't like him!...

WELL 1 out 2 ain't bad..... I guess we will have to work on it.

Now it has been a few weeks.... she's back at the whole CHUCKY CHEESE is her best friend..... LOL.....

This has been such a hard month and a half..... My mother lost 2 of her brothers.... just so sad :(

My poor mother has been through so much this last month and a half. She first lost her older brother suddenly after a quick illness that everyone expected he would recover from. Then her ONLY brother left succumbed to cancer. He passed away on valentine's day. :(

She loved her brothers so much and this has been devastating to her and her remaining siblings.

My mother and her brother Hector who passed on February 14th.

I don't have any of her other brother at the moment. I hope to have one soon.

My heart aches for her....... and it hurts. Yesterday, My uncle Tony was placed in his final resting place and my uncle Hector's memorial followed in the afternoon. Not a good day, or month.

Their children are so heartbroken, along with their grandchildren. It is so hard to find those right words to say to them. Because I don't know how they really feel. You know, their heartache deep within them.

I honestly don't want to know how it feels really.

I don't.

I wept thinking about my love for my sisters, my children, my husband and my parents. Just thinking about what I would do without any one of them. Then I wept for my mother again.

All I could do is pray.

I just prayed for them ALL .

I started blogging 2 1/2 years ago. Having a mom blog was one of my dreams. I met through blogging some great moms across the country even across the globe. I just became a stay at home mom with 2 little girls. I had always worked and for the first time I was a stay at home mom. SO MANY blogs I read. SOME MADE ME laugh so hard I had to run to the bathroom, SOME MADE ME cry that I felt somehow connected to their heartache, SOME MADE ME feel alittle embarrassed of the content but loved them anyways. SOME MADE ME question how much I was contributing in this world. What impact I would leave on this earth.

I HAVE learned so much these 2 1/2 years. It changed me a bit. FOR THE BETTER!

Now that I am back to work, I only have a few moments to read blogs. :( I do think of you all.

THE ONES who have announced they are closing down their blogs for personal reasons they must handle. SO sad for them and for me. I really have made some great bloggy friends and it saddens me to think OMG I won't have the update or funny totally hilarious posts anymore. :(

Skating with the girls....:)

My lil'princess has been skating once when she was a 1 1/2. I can't really count it as skating as we had to literally hold her up and drag her across the floor. SO this was her first time. She is 5 and totally loved it.
As for the lil'peanut... she didn't like it all too much.

My journey back to school..... a love hate relationship

A few weeks ago I began my journey back to school. To community college. To memories of old. :)

Weird feeling to be back at a place you were 10 years ago. I kept about how fast time went by.

I was so nervous on the first day. I seriously thought I was going to throw up. Then I walk in and I am the oldest one in the bunch. I died inside. I was horrified. But as the weeks have past I have come to realize that it really isn't that bad and I am so proud of myself.

This week the teacher announced that only one person got all the quiz questions right from last week... GUESS what it was me! Can you believe it! I was alittle shy and embarrassed when everyone started to look at me as the teacher was just saying that I was the perfect example for studying for a test. LOL....

THEN I really got red when I had to tell her and the rest of the class that the test we just took... I TOTALLY BOMBED LMAO..... everyone in the class started laughing.

So the teacher says why did you bomb?.... I didn't get to read the chapter more than once and so I mixed up the concepts. She smiled and said "well that is ok". She then announced to the class "So Grissell will not be wearing the crown next week but watch out she will be coming back for her title". I totally laughed so hard. She was so funny.

It really made me feel so nice to be on top after so many years. THEN I thought after I got home.... OH no! She is going to expect so much from me damn! LOL...... I was hoping just to be beneath the radar and just enjoy the experience without pressure. WELL I guess that dream is out the window.

The young kids in my class are so great. THEY have all been so sweet and funny. They ask me questions and that is a confidence boost. Especially when some of those kids are JUST SO SMART.

This is only the beginning and I can't wait to finish this first semester back.

THE only downside is I work full-time and go to school 3 days a week at night. SO the kids and the hubby are already sleeping when I get home. I KEEP thinking about the golden ticket at the end. Completing my business certificates for job opportunities and then finishing my AA in business administration.

I am a huge fan of tea. My favorite of course is Chamomile. At the end of long day, I make a cup and sip with delight. Ahhhhh so relaxing.

Looking online I found some interesting facts, some I knew of and some I didn't:

relaxes the nerves
relieves menstrual cramps-LOVE this one :)
relieves back pain
soothes the stomach
helps with insomnia and sleeping disorders
relieves migraine headaches
reduces dark circles around the eye** ok this one is a plus plus.. you saw that I just turned 39 and I forgot to mention the dark circles... I am going to need to drink alot of this. LOL

Who knew that drinking Chamomile daily had health benefits!

WOW I learn something everyday. :)

Yep I turned the big 3-9 on Monday..... what does that mean..... ???

Well a few things I have noticed... LOL.... have changed from the last 9 years....

Making many trips to the bathroom... thank GOD I have a 5 year old that has the same problem... so I can so easily blame it on her LMAO.... the bathroom again. LOL :)

I squat down.... I heard a few crackles..going down and definitely going up....... darn it!

My teeth aren't as white as they use to be.... bring out the bleach whitener.... bring it baby!

My hair is starting to thin alittle bit.... but still happy with it!

I must say... what I love about being 39....

I LOVE that I understand the purpose of life.
I LOVE that I am so smart
I LOVE that I look better with age.
I LOVE that I am alive and happy.

NOT bad right!

I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. It was the last audition in New Orleans. Her name Paris...she has a special needs child. She was only 18 when she became pregnant. She found out her daughter would have hydrocephalus. She chose to keep her baby. She sang and oh my goodness...... it HIT my heart so intensely I could not stop crying. Her LOVE for her daughter is so amazing. Her VOICE so beautiful. I really hope she makes it through.

Vilis is a darling little boy who has light brown hair and blue eyes. Too cute! He was born with an oval window, but this may have closed on it's own already.

From an adoptive family who visited with him recently: Vilis is just darling! He is lagging behind, but not from lack of ability, just lack of opportunity and stimulation. I visited him and spent a good bit of time engaging him, he laughed and giggled, babbled some sounds…he is definitely in there and will really blossom in a loving family!! If there was some way for me to "add him to my tab", I'd do it right now. He is just aching for encouragement and challenge and praise. He really responded well to me with to toys and other stimuli. He is able to cruise the table, and I just know he will be up and walking very quickly once he is home. I was able to share some tips and techniques with the caregivers to include him in the activities of the others, to talk to him and play with him, that he WILL respond.

I was having a bad day.... I am now working at a Cancer Center and she reminded me that I was lucky.

Losing is hard........ I know... however my lil' princess who is 5 is driving me up the wall! SHE can never lose or there is a complete meltdown. At first I catered to her and let her win. She would smile and say I was a loser. But there comes a time when they have to learn to be a good sport.....win or lose!

Playing tic tac toe in the car..... yep... not going to be good... I know it will be coming... the crying the throwing of the pens, COMPLETE with a migraine headache and that will be just me... anyways....

I draw the grid... let the princess go first...... X..... she says you put the O here ok...... So today was the day to start the lesson.......I put the O where I want to..... and whining begins.

"You are not suppose to put it there mom!!! You are blocking me....

Me: Yep!

I have been working full-time and commuting an 1 1/2 work and unfortunately I haven't had much time with my friends. :( I miss them greatly and I just have to figure out a way to work harder to get back to the same grove as before.

I was on top of the world. Living the dream. Smiling from ear to ear. Glowing with such happiness. Gloating that I was on my way home early. YEP rubbing it in.

Then it happened.......

So I get off at 3:30pm... :)

Then it happened........

A flat tire.... :( totally sucked.....

I was an hour and a have away....... on the side of the road......

THINKING.....and thinking....

CRAPOLA!!!! Maybe I shouldn't have gloated so much and rubbed it in my co-workers faces....... maybe just maybe I would be almost home......

I kept thinking...... I hope I don't have to pee..... I hope J gets here soon...... I hope I don't have to pee.....

OF course cuz obviously this has been the day from hell and let's just top it off with me on the side of the road, alone, and having to pee. UGH

So I held it for an hour... yep at this age that is a complete MIRACLE!... I know.... I should be in the guiness book of world records for 38 years olds..... my goodness.

J came and save me... yeah!..... See that is why I married him.... for his skills..... well maybe his eyes too or his nice hunky calves....... :)

I just purchased some whitening strips.. ok!.. the pressure...... I can't always look PERFECT!

As I get older, I find myself worrying about everything. Every pain, every itch, every episode of anything. I worry. The scenerios run through my mind. KNOWLEDGE is sometimes a bad thing for me. What can happen.

Well, I was having excruciating pain on my right side that felt LIKE I was being stabbed time after time. I tried stretching the area, breathing deeply, took a motrin. I finally had to lay down it hurt so bad. The pain shot up my side and the scenerios start running:

I might have appendicitis

I start remembering the organ chart just to be
sure what is on that side.

My liver
My stomach
Maybe my kidneys
Maybe a cyst
Maybe a tumor

Dang it I can't miss work!!!!!!!!!!
UGHHHH..... this hurts like a mother!!!!

THEN it happened!

I TOOTED! A big one!!!

Ahhhhh relief..........

Thank goodness I didn't call the doctor LOL.

On November 3, 2010, the Ukrainian parliament voted to proceed with voting on legislation that would halt all international adoptions until inter-country adoption agreements are in place (see the State Dept. announcement at http://adoption.state.gov/news/ukraine.html) . At this point, all that is needed for this to become law is one more vote in Ukrainian parliament and a signature by the Ukrainian president. This could happen any day. If it does, many families and innocent children will be greatly affected. I personally know one of these families.

I am writing to you to urge you to act quickly on this matter by 1. Contacting your Ukrainian cohorts and requesting a consideration of revision of the law to allow adoptions to proceed while the agreement is being drafted (as was done in Russia) and 2. Work with your colleagues in congress to begin drafting this agreement so that it is ready to go in the event the law passes.

Thank you for your timely consideration of this urgent matter!

You CAN do something!! Please help, spread the word, post this to your blog, write letters, and help the government see how important this is!!!

Deleting me, blocking me still won't stop me!! -Why do I post about ORPHANS with special needs

Some have become annoyed with my posts regarding special needs orphans abroad needing forever families. I have been defriended or my posts blocked because it makes them uncomfortable or just plainly stated I ANNOY them.

I don't care!!!!

I really don't. I think about them everyday. I visit Reece's Rainbow everyday and look at those faces and ball my eyes out. I BLOG to do something. I know it is the very least in the needs of these precious children but at least I am doing something.

Keep on deleting me, blocking me, judging me, etc.

It is ok.

All I am asking for you all to do is pass the word around... JUST as easy everyone can POST their BRA color on their facebook status. IT is just as easy to HIT THE SHARE BUTTON ON one of my posts.

I have to deal with your FARMVILLE posts on what level you are or what you need. YOUR mafia posts about needing certain weapons... YOUR music choices, YOUR results of your quizzes.

I think you can put up with my few posts about CHILDREN needing families........................... I found this website and blog a year& 1/2 ago and I am obsessed with these faces. I think about them in the morning and when I go to sleep.

Ok I lost 18 pounds,gained 5, lost the 5 and now I am stuck at size 10. #$% Now it is Thanksgiving again already! Are you serious...darn it. I LOVE mashed potatoes, gravy. Oh ya the turkey with more gravy and pumpkin pie.

I think the doctor should just put me in a coma and wake me up on New Year's.....

You know it really irks me when people who THINK they are the best source and example of God's word, ARE the biggest hypocrits known to mankind.

Yep these same people. Gossip and speak so ill of others. Hold grudges instead of forgiveness. Judge instead of showing compassion. Point at others instead of looking at themselves in the mirror.
