One wonderful thing about being Puerto Rican... is the food... yummy

I am proud to be Puerto Rican..... and lucky to have a mother who cooks wonderful dishes that will be passed on to my children.

I can't cook like her at all but I try.

She is amazing in so many ways.

Food brings back to many memories... and I am grateful for that.

Here are a couple of my favorite Puerto Rican foods:

Incredibly blessed... GOD is great!

It amazes me that he is here for me even when I forget. It amazes me that I doubt him and he continues to be by my side.

I just want to say HOW blessed I am and thankful for everything.

I told the maid to have all the laundry washed, dried and put away..... Unfortunately, I FOUND out that I AM THE MAID. Damn!

I was hoping that the pile of clean clothes when I returned would have been placed in their appropriate places. The floors scrubbed. Windows cleaned. Carpet washed. ..

I told the maid.

I swear I did.


Several times.


To no avail.

THEN it happened....I realized ....

THAT

The maid is ME!!!..... Damn!

No time for blogging people.......

Thank goodness I don't get paid for this cuz I would be fired! :)

Marriage takes effort and patience. Just ask Jeff he will tell you LOL. I was looking on AOL and they had an interesting article 7 ways to stay happy (all year long).

7 ways.... so I decided to read on down the list and I must say number 4 had me rollin.

4. Shave. Yep that's right shave your legs, armpits, and anything else.

Well guess what.... sometimes it is just going to have to get alittle hairy alright!  Because sometimes.... there are choices and those choices might be dinner. laundry, or shaving my legs.... SO #4 is so funny. I guess I better get to shaving people...  I don't want to disappoint anyone. LOL

OK so it gets better.....

#6.... Size matters... it says that if we gain those 20 pounds even though they say it doesn't bother them... iT does...

I GUESS I am reading the wrong article  to lift me up because instead of making me happy it is just making ticked off , and depressed...

SERIOUSLY........ who is this dude...

OFF to try to finish my sit ups and work out LOL....... I don't know about you but I am kind of getting use to my rolls...... :) Did you notice how I said TRY.... LOL..... I should get some points for trying  don't you  think.

So I am bored.... to death.. right now... .as everyone decides to take a nap after our 2 1/2 hours drive back from Monterey. Yep they are all sleeping. Except me of course.... as I look at the pile of crapola I have to put away and sort out... and then the load of laundry  staring at me cuz I decided to wait and do it when we got back.. WELL guess what people... I don't want to do it..... and noone can make me.....

Meet Noah!

Boy, Born January 17, 2008

Noah is a sweet little Munchkin who is waiting for his forever family.

Noah has a Heart murmur, open arterial canal, hyperplasia of aorta, open oval window.

He is in one of the poorer orphanages so the children are

tiny and undernourished

and are immediately transferred at age 4 to

an institution,

and where they are sent they have little chance for survival.

What do favorite colors mean about the person.... OK some stuff is totally right and the other stuff that makes me look bad... um ya NOT true!

My previous post was about my LOVE of purple. But really my favorite color of purple is lavendar or lilac. So I searched for the meaning.... I searched.... and some stuff I am like you know what that is totally me... and some stuff THAT is totally me but don't tell anyone alright! :)

I am pretty charming.... and well 95% civilized........ 5% is when I go RICAN on someone when I forget that I live on a "HIGHER PLANE".
