I must be the luckiest person in the ENTIRE world because I have just received another email stating that I am the winner of the online lottery of 100 million dollars. I know I know your jealous! This is like the 30th email this month from lotteries from around the world.. AND you know WHAT I didn't even enter that is HOW freakin good I am. I won, I didn't have to buy magazines or even paying $1. I have taken the time to tally up my GOOD fortunes and I have a total of 2 billion dollars just in THIS month alone!!! Bill Gates and Oprah sorry but you will not be on the top of this list this year cuz that WOULD BE ME!

Today is my son's birthday. He turns 15. Amazing how one minute he is holding a bottle and the next he has hair all over. Life happens and before we know it 15 years have past. So many nice memories and I can't wait to have a bazillion more with you my son.

So I had this cool post already written up about me working on other adjectives besides the lovely @#$% and how much I have been working on it and how much I am progressing.. yada yada yada.. right! THEN it happens.

BLOGGER!!!! @#$A% starts tweaking out and lose my beautifully written post about my progress. RUINED!!!!       Just ruined!!!!!   YEP... I said a curse word... OK I said a few... OH MAN! ..........  so ya FAIL!!!  Oh my goodness..... I am so mad right now......... BREATHE BREATHE  BREATHE.........

SO I will save that post for another day when I actually don't use any of those words.... well that might be a while.. LOL.... HEY I said I am not PERFECT!  I know some of you are totally shocked right now but that is ok........ I shocked myself..... LOL :)

I LOST 10 pounds... WOO hoo!! IT's my birthday..... I am going to party like it's my birthday~! Yeah . MY goal is to lose 15 more pounds.So wish me luck! :)

Wondering if spanx... can kill you........ cuz sometimes I feel like they will....

The inventor of spanks I LOVE you and I HATE you at the same time. I am just wondering if they can kill you or make you want to kill someone cuz you are in such a bad mood because you have to deal with them cutting off your circulation and OXYGEN is not reaching your brain. OR just having to pull them up to your NECK  because they roll down or sag so much that your crotch is almost dragging on the ground.  Ok ok ok........ the bright side......

This boy is darling. Johnny just needs a chance to have a wonderful loving forever family. Check out Reece's Rainbow.

Meet Johnny!

Boy, Born January 20, 2010  Johnny was born with Apert Syndrome, which has many other associated conditions. Johnny has a cleft palate, choanal atresia(nasal blockage). His echocardiogram indicated that he has an ASD, 2 small defects that do not require medication at this time. He will see a cardiologist again in the fall.

His hands and feet are fused. It is possible that this can be surgically corrected. Photos of both hands are available. He does have a distinct thumb and pinky finger on his right hand.

A CT scan of his brain was done in February 2010 and the results are available for interested families.Johnny is receiving therapy every day and is already showing signs of good development. He’s rolling over on his own and pulling the tube out of his mouth (proof that he can use his hands!). He has recently begun to take food by mouth. He previously had a feeding tube.

We will continue to receive updates on his development as he grows.

Johnny’s situation is unique. He lives in a country where he cannot be adopted until his first birthday. However, his social worker knows that he will not be adopted in his own country and because of the Apert syndrome, they are actively seeking out a family that can adopt him as quickly as possible to address his medical needs. His birth family has already surrendered their parental rights and his paper work is being done quickly for international adoption. The agency is seeking a family that can start the adoption process and be paper ready to travel in January, when Johnny turns a year old.

The primary goals of

Living the dream ... and then I woke up.... CRAP.....

Woman's gallbladder removed through mouth

Now this isn't the inquirer's crazy stories like Gorillaman has human baby but an article in the Los Angeles times.

New surgical technique

As part of the trend in developing surgeries without external wounds, surgeons last week removed a woman's gallbladder through her mouth. The operation was performed as part of a clinical trial at UC San Diego School of Medicine.

The surgery is called NOTES -- which stands for natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery. The idea is to use the mouth or vagina as routes to parts of the body requiring surgery. In traditional laparoscopic -- or minimally invasive -- surgery, doctors make several small incisions through the abdominal wall and insert a tiny camera and tools to remove the gallbladder or appendix. That type of surgery is a big improvement upon the long, open incisions that patients used to require.

However, NOTES spares patients even the tiny abdominal incisions. Tools are passed down the mouth and through a hole created in the stomach. In the recent surgery, lead investigator Santiago Horgan made two tiny incisions (not requiring stitches) to pass a camera into the abdomen to increase visibility. However, the gallbladder was removed by way of the mouth.

The procedure was done as part of a study that will evaluate the safety and efficacy of NOTES compared with laparoscopy as well as the pain levels, cosmetic outcome, costs and other outcomes, Horgan said in a news release. Horgan is the director of UCSD's Center for the Future of Surgery. The hope is that natural orifice procedures will reduce the risk of infection and pain as well as abdominal scars. The center also performed the first oral appendix removal.

US scientists discover antibodies that neutralize 90 pct. of known HIV strains

US researchers have discovered two powerful antibodies that neutralize more than 90 percent of all known strains of the HIV virus in the lab, new research released Thursday showed.

NIH-led scientists discovered the antibodies known as VRCO1 and VRCO2 that prevent most HIV strains from infecting human cells. The find is a potential breakthrough for advancing HIV vaccine design, and antibody therapy for other diseases.

The authors, whose work is published in the July 9 issue of Science, also were able to demonstrate how one of these disease-fighting proteins gets the job done.

"The discovery of these exceptionally broadly neutralizing antibodies to HIV and the structural analysis that explains how they work are exciting advances that will accelerate our efforts to find a preventive HIV vaccine for global use," said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health.

"In addition, the technique the teams used to find the new antibodies represents a novel strategy that could be applied to vaccine design for many other infectious diseases," Fauci stressed in a statement.


The team of virologists found that the two antibodies were produced naturally and found in the blood of HIV-positive people.

They were able to isolate these antibodies using a new molecular device they developed. It zeroes in on specific cells that make antibodies against HIV. The device is an HIV protein scientists modified to react only with antibodies specific to the site where the virus binds to cells it infects.

Leading two research teams were NIAID scientists Peter Kwong, Ph.D., John Mascola, MD, and Gary Nabel, MD, Ph.D.

"We have used our knowledge of the structure of a virus -- in this case, the outer surface of HIV -- to refine molecular tools that pinpoint the vulnerable spot on the virus and guide us to antibodies that attach to this spot, blocking the virus from infecting cells," explained Nabel.

Mascola added that: "the antibodies attach to a virtually unchanging part of the virus, and this explains why they can neutralize such an extraordinary range of HIV strains."

Poor Sasha lost his family due to an unexpected illness :( He is now "at risk" and needing a new family quickly! He has darling duck fuzz platinum blonde hair and giant blue eyes. We have many photos of him available. Hope someone will consider him, and any of the other precious babies at this orphanage!

"Oh Mama, I have been waiting so long, won't you come for me?"

Our little Alina has brown hair and brown eyes. She was born with a VSD (ventricular septal defect) and also has hypothyroidism. She is doing very well, but should be seen by a cardiologist when she gets home. Alina has recently turned 4, and is now "at risk" for institutionalization.

Now is the perfect time to start your paperwork for Alina! She can not be adopted from the place she will be sent. She is blessed to still be at the baby house, which is one of the nicer ones. We have had several families adopt from here, and this region is a beautiful place to visit. There are MANY children with Down syndrome and other special needs waiting in this orphanage who can be adopted together.
